Andrew (Andy) Day presently serves as Senior Vice President, Operations for WYVERN Ltd, the premier private aviation safety risk management organization. Day began his career in the 1980s at a small regional passenger airline in New England, working his way up to various leadership roles including the development of a passenger-to-freight aircraft conversion program and subsequent deployment of freighter aircraft in an in-house dedicated cargo operation. Later, as the Executive Vice President of a large Part 135 operation, he led a team of 180 aviation professionals to become known as one of the largest and most respected cargo feeder airlines in the United States, operating on behalf of FedEx and UPS throughout the eastern US. Immediately before joining WYVERN, Day served as the President and CEO of a Massachusetts-based Part 135 charter operation with a large, super-mid, and heavy jet fleet with global operating authority. A passionate aviation safety champion, Day’s credentials include a bachelor's degree of science in aviation management, multi-engine commercial pilot, and an International Society of Safety Professionals certified International Safety Manager.
