Chris Algee

Manager of Flight Scheduling and Dispatch

Encompass Health

Chris Algee has been employed with Encompass Health, based in Birmingham, AL (BHM) since 2017. Encompass Health is an IS-BAO Stage III part 91 operator of two Citation Sovereign aircraft.

Chris’s role is Manager of Flight Scheduling and Dispatch. He has held the NBAA CAM certification since 2013, been a licensed dispatcher since 2005, and most recently, was recognized as an NBAA Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation recipient in 2018.

Chris is responsible for leading the planning function for all trip and hangar-related activities, the DCA Access security coordinator for the operation and the facility, the manager of the department internship program and an assistant to the safety officer for the department.

In addition to his efforts of ensuring safety and efficiency of flight for Encompass Health, Chris has recently become a board member of the Alabama Business Aviation Association (ALBAA). Prior to joining Encompass Health in 2017, he supported Jet Aviation/McKesson, Home Depot and NetJets in similar roles spanning almost 20 years.

He is a past NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers committee member and scholarship recipient, and he has been a conference session speaker several times since 2015. When he isn’t focused on elevating the value of business aviation, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amey, of 15 years and their three children, CJ, Adam, and Sarah-Beth. They are also active in their local church.
