Cory is a seasoned corporate pilot for a prominent Corporate Flight Department in Texas. A graduate of Saint Louis University’s Parks College, he holds a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science degree from their esteemed Professional Pilot Program. With an impressive 35-year career in professional aviation, Cory possesses multiple type ratings and retains his flight instructor ratings, which he first earned in 1993. Currently, he pilots Gulfstream 650s and 550s on both domestic and international routes.
Beyond his piloting duties, Cory serves as a Safety Manager. In 2021, he completed WYVERN’s Safety Leader Training Course and spearheaded Pentastar Aviation’s WYVERN’s Flight Leader Program, achieving Wingman Pro status for the company in 2022. He further augmented his expertise with NBAA Safety Manager training the same year.
In 2022, Cory began a five-year term on Bombardier's Safety Standdown Advisory Council. This council plays a crucial role in shaping the Safety Standdown Seminar by offering strategic advice, evaluating past initiatives, developing current projects, and setting future goals. Their responsibilities include helping select, promote and curate the Safety Standdown Award winner.
