  • A design Thinking Approach to Culture_Amy Grubb

Organizational culture is the story of your organization as told through the behaviors of your employees. Safety culture is no different -- oftentimes safety processes, procedures and reporting "feel" hard, burdensome, or outside the work itself can make it hard for people to do the "right" behaviors. This talk will explore making safety easy for people to accomplish the right behaviors and hard to execute the wrong behaviors. It will also concentrate on the end user of safety and the behaviors that are needed to design, build, and enhance a safety culture. This talk will lead participants through psychological, learning and design principles to consider in continuing to build and grow a safety culture in an engaging and practical way so that participants can take immediate steps to enhance their culture and business practices.
