Jason Starke is the Director of Safety at Baldwin Safety & Compliance and an instructor for BaldwinVirtualTraining.com. Starke’s career highlights include serving as the Operations Manager for the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and as an advisor to the ICAO safety management panel.

Before IBAC, Starke worked at Universal Weather and Aviation, spearheading the development of a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) solution for client flight departments. Before that, he served as the Director of Safety at Priester Aviation in Chicago, where he successfully implemented an SMS and established the company's Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program.

Starke's aviation credentials include having served as an instructor for Flight Safety International, holding Airline Transport Pilot certification, and being rated in the CE-500, CL-600, and HS-125 aircraft. He holds a bachelor’s degree of science in meteorology from Northern Illinois University, a master’s degree in aviation science from Everglades University, and a Ph.D. in organizational leadership from Northcentral University.

Starke's passion for aviation safety extends beyond his professional roles. He has actively contributed to the field through his involvement with organizations such as the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Safety Committee. Additionally, he serves as an instructor at the University of Southern California, Viterbi School of Engineering, Safety and Security Program.
