Kamron Githens has been in the aviation industry since 1996. After ten years serving in the U.S. Army as a CH-47 flight crewmember, he transitioned to Lockheed Martin, where he built and tested the F-16s and the first F-35 aircraft. In 2006, Githens started his commercial aviation safety career at Southwest Airlines (SWA), where he managed the Flight Data Analysis Program (FDAP) and moved to American Airlines, becoming the FOQA Manager. 

Since 2015, Githens has worked for Universal Technical Resource Services (UTRS) and Cypher LLC on the Aviation Division team as the WBAT Program Manager. He currently manages over 230 operators from all aspects of the U.S. commercial aviation community. He manages enhancements and upgrades to ensure that the WBAT platform complies with the FAA's SMS requirements and meets the community's needs.
