Kristopher Cannon is a nationally recognized aviation security consultant, speaker, and corporate pilot with a deep-rooted commitment to protecting flight departments and their personnel. As the Founder and President of Aviation Secure Inc., Kris brings years of experience in law enforcement, aviation operations, and specialized security training to the forefront of the industry.

His background includes serving as a defensive tactic instructor and officer survival trainer, as well as an instructor at the University of Southern California’s Aviation Security Program and a corporate pilot. This diverse foundation gives him a unique edge in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and real-world threat mitigation.

Since launching Aviation Secure more than 20 years ago, Kris has reshaped how crews and personnel are trained—blending practical skills with strategic awareness. Under his leadership, Aviation Secure has become an NBAA PDP-approved provider, offering trusted training solutions to flight departments across the globe.

Kris currently teaches and presents throughout the U.S. and abroad and has served on the NBAA Security Council since 2011. Known for his no-nonsense, common-sense approach, he empowers aviation professionals to take ownership of their personal security and build stronger, safer operations.
