Michael Cataldo is the Senior Manager of Aircraft Maintenance for Cox Enterprises, Inc. Flight Operations, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he leads a team responsible for the total asset management of a Part 91 fleet of aircraft and its supporting infrastructure. His leadership is defined by a strong commitment to safety, exceptional customer service, and responsible resource management.

With over 25 years of experience in business aviation, Michael began his career at a Part 145 repair station before joining Cox Enterprises as an Aircraft Technician in 2002. He has since held various positions including Safety Officer, where he led the ISBAO and BASC certification processes and developed key programs supporting FOQA, OSHA compliance, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. In 2019, he was promoted to his current leadership position.

Michael holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, earned through the Aviation Maintenance Technology program at Atlanta Technical College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Georgia Southern University, with a focus in finance and tax.

His professional credentials include eight Master Technician awards from Flight Safety International, FAA Inspection Authorization, certification through the USC Aviation Safety and Security Program, and designation as a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) by the National Business Aviation Association.

Michael currently serves as Chair of the Regulatory and Operational Compliance Subcommittee within the NBAA Maintenance Committee. Michael also actively supports the development of future aviation professionals through mentorship programs at both Cox Enterprises and NBAA. He is also an active commercial pilot and enjoys spending time in the air when possible.
