This workshop will give a high-level overview of how to reduce human error in aviation maintenance and ground handling of aircraft, which result in $40 billion in damage annually in the global aviation industry. Exhaustive study of industry reports and data has shown that there are seven key events that are far too common and expensive to continue. We call these occurrences the Never Events because they are all 100% preventable. The seven Aviation Maintenance Never Events® are: Wrong Person, Wrong Part, Wrong Fluid, Improper Movement, Lost Tool or Item, Unsecured Panels, and Improper or Incomplete Inspection.
