Norm "DQ" Dequier brings over 32 years of aviation experience, including 3,500 hours (about 5 months) of military flight training. As a former Royal Canadian Air Force pilot and Snowbirds demonstration team member, DQ has held pivotal roles in flight operations and standards. At APS, he is a leading expert in Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), delivering advanced instruction across ground training, Extra 300L, S211 jet, advanced simulators, and virtual platforms. Additionally, he serves as a key contributor to the NBAA Safety Committee's Loss of Control In-flight Working Group, significantly advancing aviation safety initiatives.
