From a small maintenance shop to a large corporation, mentoring can have significant benefits for skills and culture development. While the benefits of mentoring are often discussed, "how to" build a mentoring program within an organization that actually works is never really discussed, and the prospect of starting from scratch can be overwhelming. This highly interactive workshop will walk through the very practical considerations such as purpose, target audience, goals, resources, etc. and outlines the steps needed to build mentoring programs. At the end of the workshop, participants will have a preliminary plan to build a mentoring program, capitalizing on what already exists and building something that works specifically for your organization.
