Jill Wilson is the Head of Safety for Joby Aviation. In this position, she oversees all safety activities for Joby’s aircraft manufacturing and operations, including occupational health and safety, flight operations safety, flight test safety, accident investigation, and safety management system implementation.

Wilson began her career after graduating from Florida Institute of Technology in 2006 with a degree in Aviation Management. While in school, she earned her commercial pilot certificate with airplane instrument, single-engine and multi-engine ratings. After graduation, she built upon her experience interning with the Safety Office at USAir and began developing a career in transportation safety. Wilson has spent time in a variety of intermodal safety roles in both marine shipping and aviation. She received her master’s degree in safety from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2013 and graduated from Southern California Safety Institute with a certificate of Accident Investigation in 2014.
