Joe Brown, Paramedic, Battalion Chief

Joe Brown started as a medical instructor with MedAire in 2013 and currently teaches both the aviation and maritime classes. Joe is MedAire’s Instructor Trainer. He has been a career firefighter-paramedic for the last 28 years and is currently a Battalion Chief at the New Albany, Ohio Fire Department, overseeing emergency medical services and training. He holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.  Joe is passionate about teaching and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Columbus State in Columbus, Ohio, teaching both fire and EMS classes. He is also a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Joe graduated from the Ohio Fire Executive program and earned his EMS/Fire Science degree from Columbus State.
