This workshop begins by depicting the big picture of how Just Culture fits into aviation safety, then explores exactly what we mean by a culture of fairness, provides real-world examples of how senior leaders, mid-level managers, and subordinates all contribute to the culture and shares a handful of fundamental precepts for establishing a Just Culture in a flight department. The workshop will conclude with examples of decision-making tools for leaders grappling with safety issues, so that their decisions increase the health of their Just Culture.
