A co-founder of Pulsar Informatics, Matthew van Wollen has a background in Engineering Physics and finance. Before assuming the role of Senior Project Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Pulsar Informatics, he was an associate partner at a boutique investment bank in Eastern Europe, where over a five-year period he managed corporate finance and M&A transactions for major multinational companies and private equity firms.  

Over the past three years, Van Wollen has created tailored fatigue risk management programs for 15 air operators in the U.S. and Canada. He is an expert in the process of applying for and validating safety cases for variances from prescriptive flight and duty time regulations.  

Van Wollen is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has served as board member of publicly listed companies in Canada and in Poland. He holds two U.S. technology patents and currently resides in Seattle.
