The actions of operating in challenging winter environments requires extra diligence and preparation to safely complete a flight. This workshop will review the updated FAA guidance on operating on contaminated runways and how to properly use de-ice and anti-ice fluids in conjunction with pre-takeoff contamination checks. Participants will investigate methods and techniques to better elevate their standards at their flight department.
