Timothy Wade

Over the past 18 years, Timothy Wade has worked in many areas of both aviation and safety. While in the U.S. Army, he was stationed in South Korea and deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan working on Apache helicopters. After leaving the Army in 2013, Wade pursued a career in health and safety, working as a medic and fire inspector while obtaining two degrees. In 2016, Wade’s two career passions joined when he accepted the role of Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for Constant Aviation and Nextant Aerospace in Cleveland, Ohio. Most recently, following a company merger, Wade serves as Flexjet’s Director of EHS, overseeing the safety program for all ground and maintenance operations.

Since returning to the aviation industry, Wade has guided Constant Aviation’s SMS program through full FAA accreditation while managing the day-to-day operations of the system. To improve safety metrics throughout the organization, he developed an electronic incident reporting system and database that all employees can access via desktop or smartphone.

Wade has served on various committees with NBAA including the Young Professional’s (YoPro) Council, and the Safety Committee where he is currently serving as the Promotions Team Lead. In 2021 Wade was selected as an NBAA Top 40 Under 40 honoree.

Wade has been married to his wife Erica since 2013, and they have three girls. As a family, they are avid travelers and campers enjoying road trips to national parks and Disney World.
