Vice President

Thoroughbred Aviation

For 20-plus years, Lee Brewster has worked throughout the aviation industry as an advocate and proponent of creating a compliant and effective environment by utilizing tools that enhance an operation rather than become a continuous burden. As a prolific speaker at industry events and co-hosting an aviation-centric podcast, Brewster has made it her mission to share the stories, foster collaboration and connect people across her network.

Brewster’s career started in an FAA Part 147 school, where she was active in workforce development and compliance. This focus led to an opportunity to develop industry-recognized programs and standards for aircraft technicians as both a founder and the Executive Director of the National Center for Aircraft Technician Training (NCATT). The NCATT program continued to grow and has evolved into the ASTM NCATT Certifications and is now recognized as an alternate means of compliance for obtaining the FAA Repairman’s certificate. Her career naturally progressed to FlightSafety International as the Product Sales Manager for the DFW Center's maintenance training. Responsibilities included the full line of Falcon Jets, Gulfstreams, the PC-24, Honeywell engines and avionics, and the Pratt & Whitney Canada engine line. She took her experience and passion for people and optimizing operational tools to Flightdocs, where she was named the Vice President of Marketing and Engagement after the acquisition by ATP. In 2022, Brewster was presented with a new opportunity to expand her knowledge and contribution to aviation as the Vice President of Thoroughbred Aviation LLC, based in Louisville, KY. With Thoroughbred, Brewster is working directly to not only enhance and optimize internal operations but also build a customer experience that is unique to the aircraft transaction space.

Brewster holds a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s in Education, Technology Leadership. She is an active member of the Tarrant County College Aviation Advisory Board, the International Aviation Womens Association, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Maintenance Committee, where she serves in a leadership position as the secretary and co-chair of the annual NBAA Maintenance Conference.
