​​Safety is usually defined as the absence of accidents in the workplace. Many industries overlook the concept of ‘prevention through learning’.

Learning is a dynamic activity that requires the learner to be in a mode of inquiry. How do we move an organization that is pretty darn safe to become a learning organization? This presentation will introduce ways that we can help all levels of the organization move toward inquiry and it will explore what blocks learning in comparatively safe work environments like aviation. Together we will discuss how learning at all levels of an organization can result in safer outcomes.
