Kathryn Glynn is an Engineering, Professional in the Product Sustainability & Strategy team at Bombardier. She graduated from Carleton University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering and has gained experience in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), emissions trading systems (ETS), and environmental compliance. Kathryn leads the governance on SAF adoption, internal life cycle assessments (LCA), and supports non-chemical regulatory compliance.
Kathryn has actively contributed to the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) as a member of WG 12 (Life Cycle Assessment). Through this work, she has supported the development of a voluntary LCA framework for the aerospace industry. Additionally, she has played a key role in developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for the Challenger 3500 and Challenger 650 aircraft, engaging stakeholders to enhance transparency in aviation sustainability.
Her goal is to support the adoption of sustainable fuels and collaborate on policies driving decarbonization in aviation. She would like to raise awareness about the safety and reliability of SAF and is committed to addressing the barriers that hinder its widespread adoption through education, engagement, and cross-industry collaboration.
