Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is not a future concept, it’s a certified, proven solution available today. Despite extensive testing and full endorsement by aviation authorities and OEMs, concerns around the safety of SAF remain. We will walk through the SAF certification and testing process which ensures it is safe and compatible for use across aircraft platforms.

Cost remains a significant consideration for SAF adoption. We’ll put this cost into perspective, explore how economies of scale will bring prices down, and why early adoption is essential to drive this transition. Lastly, SAF availability remains a barrier to SAF adoption, but digital tools exist to help operators identify sources of physical SAF. In addition, the Book & Claim system enables access to SAF, even where physical supply is not yet available. The viability of SAF has been demonstrated as a certified and proven solution, its success now relies on our shared responsibility to drive adoption.
