Robert Patton

Cofounder and Chief Content Creator
Highbrow Safety Werks

Patton founded Highbrow Safety Werks in Charlotte, North Carolina  to merge his aviation expertise with his stand-up comedy background to help increase safety awareness and buy-in. With  a passion for aviation that was ignited at the age of 15, Patton has navigated through Part 91, 121, and 125 operations, serving in key roles such as safety officer and check airman. As a representative of the FAAST team and Southeastern Safety Roundtable, Patton has contributed to safety literature and engaged in presentations focused on culture and safety buy-in including publishing, “The plane that prolly could." As the chief pilot of a midsize flight department, he emphasizes psychological safety, intellectual humility and levity. When he’s not writing scripts or piloting, you can find Robb and his family at a Concourse D'Elegance.
